I'm a sucker for a good detail shot! Who doesn't love a dreamy flat lay with fresh florals and meaningful items from your wedding day? Here are my favorite things to pack that your photographer will love.
Calligraphy + Stationary
Make sure to bring a copy of your full invitation suite. If you are extra like me, make sure to have an envelope addressed by a calligrapher and make it personal! We addressed our envelope with my late grandparent's address in memory of them.
Add some pretty vintage stamps and a wax seal and you have the perfect base for a stunning flat lay!
Some of my other favorite paper goods to include are escort cards, vow books, menus, and programs. The more personal you and your partner customize your details, the better.
Jewelry + Accessories
The most important part of a detail shot is the rings of course! Don't forget to throw in any other accessories you or your partner may be wearing. This might include watches, necklaces, clutches, ties, earrings, cufflinks, and shoes.
Heirlooms + Vintage Touches
If you couldn't guess, I'm a sucker for vintage details and anything that has sentimental value for my couples. For my wedding, we chose to include my grandmother's gold necklace, pearl necklace, and her monogrammed broach. Feel free to include things that have meaning for you and your partner.
Floral Accents
Pretty blooms and greenery are my absolute FAVE! Remember to ask your florist to bring a few stems of greenery and some flowers for your photographer to play with! Photographers always appreciate it.
Don't forget to have you and your partner's personals available, wether that be boutonnières or bouquets! Flowers, sadly don't last forever, you might as well have some beautiful close ups shots to remember them as they looked on your wedding day.
