Does vowed vintage travel for weddings and Events? Vowed Vintage has had the pleasure of being part of weddings in nine states! We have a passion for travel and love bringing our services to clients near and far. Whether your event is local or overseas, we are excited to explore how Vowed Vintage can bring your vision to life.
Does Vowed Vintage serve LGBTQ+ couples?

Does Vowed Vintage plan and decorate cultural weddings? Vowed Vintage takes immense joy in being part of cultural celebrations. When it comes to cultural weddings, our philosophy is to work closely with our clients, immersing ourselves in the beauty of their cultures and traditions. We believe in creating events that honor and celebrate the uniqueness of each tradition, ensuring a truly authentic and meaningful experience.
Can I rent items from other companies while working with Vowed Vintage?
 Absolutely! Vowed Vintage embraces a no-pressure approach when it comes to renting from us. You are more than welcome to rent items from other companies while working with Vowed Vintage. Our goal is to provide the support and services that align with your needs and preferences, ensuring your event is exactly as you envision it.

RENTALS
How do i reserve rentals?  To secure your rentals, kindly fill out the inquiry form on our contact page. We'll then request a 50% deposit along with a signed contract to ensure everything is set for your special occasion.
Where and when do I pick up rentals? Our rental pick-up location is in Pleasant Hill, iowa. As we operate from a residential property, we'll provide the exact location during the month of your event. At that time we will also schedule drop-off and pick up times.
Do I need to clean my rentals before returning? We ask that you rinse (not dishwash) food and drink residue from tableware items and remove as much wax as possible from candle holders and lanterns. This helps us maintain the quality of our inventory and ensures a smooth transition for the next event. If you have any questions about cleaning specific items or need guidance, feel free to ask. 
What happens if I ruin a rental item? In the unfortunate event that a rental item is broken or damaged, please inform us as soon as possible. We understand that accidents happen, and we will work together to assess the situation. Depending on the extent of the damage, a replacement or repair fee may be applicable. Our goal is to find a fair resolution, and we appreciate your open communication in such circumstances.
What if I can't return my rental on time? If you anticipate any challenges in returning your rental items on time, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we're here to work with you to find a solution. Late returns may incur additional fees, so it's essential to keep open communication to explore options and ensure a smooth resolution. Our priority is to make the rental process as convenient as possible for you.
What happens if I no longer need my rentals?
 We understand that circumstances can change, and we're here to assist you. Depending on the timing and the specific situation, we can discuss potential options, which may include a credit for future rentals, switching your items for something different, or addressing any applicable cancellation policies.
Can I switch my rental items if I change my mind? Yes, you can always switch your current rentals out for different items using the credit of your original order.
Ca
n I come to pick out my rentals in person? While we currently do not offer warehouse visits due to the constant inflow and outflow of rentals, we understand the importance of seeing items in person. If you would like to preview a specific item before booking, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.


Delivery 
When do I schedule my delivery? While we like to have a somewhat solid idea of pick-up times upon booking, we will finalize the details during the month of the event. This ensures we can accommodate any changes or specific requirements you may have closer to the date.
Can I choose to add on delivery later? Yes, you can choose to add on delivery later, pending availability. If you decide to include delivery services after your initial booking, please reach out to our team as soon as possible to check for availability and make the necessary arrangements.
Does Vowed Vintage place rental furniture where we want it? We are happy to place rental furniture exactly where you want it, provided we are given the exact location on a floor plan and the space is accessible and safe for our team to move through. 

Does Vowed Vintage deliver outside of des moines? Yes, absolutely! Vowed Vintage offers delivery services not only across Des Moines, but throughout Iowa and nearby states.
Do i need to pack up my rentals before the designated pick-up time? Yes, it is crucial to have the rentals packed up and ready to go at the designated pick-up time. This helps us maintain an efficient pick-up schedule and ensures a smooth transition for our team. Your cooperation in having the items prepared for pick-up at the agreed-upon time is greatly appreciated, allowing us to provide the best service possible.


Event packages 
Are rentals included in wedding packages? Rentals are not automatically included in our packages. We believe in offering flexibility to our clients, allowing them the freedom to source their items if they prefer. 
How do I book my Wedding Package? 
To secure your date, kindly fill out the inquiry form on our contact page. We'll then request a 25% deposit along with a signed contract.
How far in advance should I book a wedding package? You can book a wedding package whenever you are ready, whether it's two years prior or six months before your big day. We understand that timelines vary, and we're here to accommodate your unique planning schedule. Booking in advance allows for better availability and ensures ample time for detailed planning. Feel free to reach out whenever you're ready to start the journey towards creating your dream wedding.


Luxury Picnic 
What if there is bad weather in the forecast? If rain is in the forecast and weather becomes an issue, we've got you covered! We can either move the picnic indoors/relocate to a different spot, or, if needed, postpone to a date that works for both parties. 
Can I leave the picnic whenever I'm ready? We request that you remain with the picnic setup until the picnic attendant arrives for pick-up. This ensures a smooth and secure process, keeping all rental items safe. If you need to leave earlier than initially discussed, please contact us, and we'll do our best to expedite the pick
-up.
Where can I have my picnic set up? You can have your picnic set up anywhere! Whether it's in backyards, living rooms, public parks, rented spaces, or wineries, the possibilities are endless. Some of our most popular locations include Water Works Park and Jasper Winery. 
Does the picnic need to be attended at all times? Yes, in public spaces, we do require that the picnic be attended at all times to ensure the safety and security of the items.
My picnic is at a big park, how do I know where it is set up? Approximately 30 minutes before the rental period begins, we'll send the location details to the contact person of your choice. Setting up in big parks can be unpredictable due to various activities, so we aim to find the spot that works best for your picnic experience. If you have any preferences or specific considerations, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Can I bring my own food and drinks? Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enhance your picnic experience! However, please be mindful of the rules and regulations of the chosen location, especially when it comes to alcoholic beverages.
